Sixty-six year old Food Network chef, Paula Deen is releasing her own line of butter. I’m sure this comes as no shock to anyone, but still.
Paula Deen is releasing her own line of “finishing butter,” because butter is the perfect thing to add onto any dish.
Paula’s butter flavors are to include Citrus Zest Butter, Lemon Dill Butter, European Style Butter, and Garden Herb Butter.
The Queen of Butter had to cut back on her large butter intake, when she announced last year that she had been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. These butters are best used for the finishing stages of any dish, in moderation.
It may be a bit hard to use only a bit of these butters, according to Paula herself.
“My Sweet Citrus Zest butter is hard to practice in moderation – it’s so good on a biscuit or cornbread and it’s the perfect butter to have in the morning – it feels so fresh and clean on your palette.”
For those of you who aren’t as enthusiastic about butter, she’s releasing sugar-free chocolates, and all-natural chips, so that’s cool as well.
