Cairo Gold and Uno The Activist Team Up for “New Type Of Woman”

For her new urban-pop single “New Type Of Woman,” Los Angeles-based rising singer, songwriter, and musician Cairo Gold has teamed up with the highly acclaimed 23-year-old Republic Records rapper Uno The Activist for a seductive female empowerment anthem.

The single, “New Type Of Woman”, which is out now, Cairo co-wrote with Uno and Da Black Mic (Bryson Tiller, DJ Khaled, Rihanna) who also produced it.

“My new single ‘New Type Of Woman’ is for the type of the woman who works hard, plays hard, loves hard and takes no shit,” Cairo told Billboard.  “She is a feminist nouveau – too busy basking in the beautiful life she is creating for herself daily to spend any time or energy passing petty judgement on other women.”

“If you’re with her, it’s not because she needs you, it’s because she wants you. She is not afraid to make mistakes and is always learning, growing, and truly living life to the fullest. She rests easy knowing that whatever is meant for her will never miss her and what misses her was never meant for her. Whether she is a CEO of a billion dollar business, a maid, florist, photographer, stripper, singer, or mail room assistant – she’s in her power. This new type of woman is smart, sexy, provocative and a force to be reckoned with.” She continues.
