Fans hoping to get some more insider information about Capcom’s new fantasy game at this year’s gamescom 2013 will have to hold out a little longer as the publishers will not be attending.
Capcom confirmed in a statement that they do not plan on attending the August 21-25 event being held in Cologne, Germany.
This decision means there will be no details on upcoming fantasy game Deep Down, previously unveiled at the launch of the PS4. Deep Down is thought to be linked to the Dragon’s Dogma franchise and is being developed using the new Panta Rhei engine. Dead Rising 3, which is also under development, may still receive exposure during Microsoft’s conference at the event.
Capcom previously announced that a number of projects were scrapped due to a £46 million restructure.
