Staff Writerjust that. Smith was just an ordinary Reds fan watching last Thursdays’ baseball game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Cincinnati Reds, when something crazy happened. Cardinals First Baseman Matt Adams gave chase to a foul ball in the third inning, and where does this ball dive? Into section 134 where Chris Smith, who was wearing a knee brace since he just had a knee surgery, happened to be sitting. Of course Adams leaps into the stands to catch the ball but Smith, with glove in hand, catches it instead. Suddenly in the heat of the moment Adams ends up shoving the opposing fan with the knee brace. And what does Smith? He brandishes the caught ball in Adams face, grabs a buddy, and flips the major leaguer off. To be fair, there was no way that Adams could have known that Smith just had surgery, but what happened does make for great TV or in this case, a classic Vine video. We’re pretty sure Smith will have a great story to tell for years to come, plus raw footage and a souvenir to back it up. View the video (it's a little bit NSFW) and enjoy the random sport that is baseball. [embed]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_znkxvMhokk[/embed]
