Carrie Underwood seems to be everywhere these days. Not only did she perform at the CMA Music Fest which was on ABC earlier this week, the DVD of her sold-out Blown Away tour just hit the shelves, and now it seems that the successful country singer has one more thing to add to her resume. Carrie, alongside her country pal Brad Paisley, is set to host the 2013 County Music Association Awards. The chart-topping duo is no stranger to hosting one of county music’s biggest nights as this will be their 6th time at the helm.
CMA President Ed Hardy praised the duo by saying; "They have the respect of our industry, artistic credibility, critical acclaim and a quick-witted, genuine rapport that makes them popular with our audience and the viewers at home." Hardy also described them as the "consummate hosts" for the annual ceremony. "We are delighted to have them back as hosts for the sixth year,” he said.
This year’s awards show will air from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and have been scheduled to air on ABC, November 6th at 8pm ET.
