The Cast Of Harry Potter Dishes On Why They Love
Members of the Harry Potter cast: Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), Warwick Davis (Profession Flitwick and Griphook), and Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) reunited at Universal Orlando Resort from January 27-29 for an unforgettable weekend of panels, events, and special surprises at "A Celebration of Harry Potter." Thousands of fans filled the parks, many dressed in wizard robes and Hogwarts house scarves, to join the 4th annual celebration event. While the event is designed with the fans in mind, the cast revealed that they love "Celebration" just as much -- if not more -- than the fans themselves.

Warwick Davis was excited to comment on why he loves returning to Orlando, Florida for the special event. "Well, it’s lovely. We feel very welcome here," he said. "It’s lovely that most people here are here for Harry Potter. For us, being part of that is fantastic ... it’s a great place to hang out, but even more so during Celebration because more people are here for Harry Potter."

Davis also spoke about how Harry Potter fans are multi-generational, helping to unite families over one common interest. "You’ve got parents who were obviously fans of the films, and even kids who are young, who wouldn’t have been born when the first film came out," he said. "There was a little girl this morning with her mom. And her mom was dressed as Professor Sprout, and the little girl was dressed as a mandrake in a flowerpot. The little girl, I think, was really confused ... nonetheless it looked great. It’s just great to see generations now experiencing it."

Tom Felton shared an interesting tip regarding his favorite part about being at The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter. "I’m very excited to walk down Hogsmeade," Felton said. "I’m all about just walking around. You can literally feel it; I swear, the energy is palpable from people. And it’s quite good because I was there last time for about an hour, and no one clocked me at all because everyone’s just looking around. They’re not looking at muggles dressed as muggles. So weirdly, ironically, it’s a great place for me to go incognito." So there you have it. If you want to catch Tom Felton in the parks, be sure to just look right in plain sight -- you never know who you might bump into at Three Broomsticks!

Jason Isaacs hadn't been to Universal Orlando Resort in years, and this would be the first time he'd see the new Harry Potter attractions in the park. The fan support for Harry Potter in the parks is what draws him to the Celebration, though. "It’s not like when you bump into an actor on the streets that you’ve seen on a show you like," Isaacs explained. "When they come up, and they’re particularly nice to us, it’s more like that they’re acknowledging that these stories were a huge part of their childhood, and you feel a kind of wave of positive energy and love."

Matthew Lewis has also attended "A Celebration Of Harry Potter" before, so, for him, "it’s so lovely to come back to this world," he said. "The fans have always been exceptional to us, and they’ve stayed with the films for so long now, and they’re never wavering in their loyalty. So, to come back for this celebration, it’s brilliant ... you’ve got this celebration where everyone can come from all over the world to this one weekend and all just share this one celebration of this passion. And the fact that we get to experience that with them is just such a fun, friendly environment. And Tom was right, the energy that comes off that is tangible. It’s brilliant."
