So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley tweeted the news yesterday that she and husband Patrick Kielty are expecting their first child!

Exciting news…. Paddy and I are so happy to be expecting our first child in the Spring….. Lucky us.

The news comes just a month after Kielty spoke publicly about the couple’s family plans.  In an interview, he stated: 

I don’t know. I generally find that when joy like that comes along, it’s a surprise.

He went on to joke:

I hope any child we have has Cat’s looks and my accent.

There could be worse combinations than Deeley’s model appearance and a Northern Irish lilt!  Are you excited for the couple’s news?
