Greetings SPN fans! Two more weeks have gone by and we’ve got a new episode, and we pray that they keep on coming, with no more breaks! The show tries to introduce a new character who is pretty awesome,  then dies minutes later. This happens once again as we meet a magical ex-Man of Letters in Dean's quest for the First Blade. We finally learn the answer to the question: What's a Snooki? And the answer is pretty surprising, depending on who you ask. Here’s what happened on Supernatural's "Blade Runners":

Crowley Might As Well Face It, He’s Addicted To Blood:

Who knew Crowley could ever fall so hard and so fast?! The King of Hell, is now a blood junkie, just like Sam was in season 4, and is holed up in a hotel room getting it on with a demon named Lola, all the while injecting human blood into himself, which makes him cry like a little girl while he is watching Casablanca. To make matters even worse, Lola has been telling Abaddon all about Crowley's unusual behavior. Crowley eventually figures out that Lola is double-crossing him and he kills her.

Snooki The Crossroads Demon

I always knew there was something seriously wrong with her, and now I have my answer. Dean is going crazy trying to find Crowley to see if he has found the First Blade. Sam and Dean summon a Crossroads Demon in order to determine Crowley's location and they are just as  stunned as we were to learn that it's Snooki! Remember when Sam came back from the cage and asked Dean, "What's a Snooki?" Well, the short answer is that she's a Crossroads Demon. It's a very funny scene and she proves to be as useless as a screen door on a submarine, but it ends with Sam exorcising Snooki's demon.

Intervention: Supernatural Edition

Crowley finally hits rock bottom, gets off his ass and calls Dean back. The boys show up and stage an intervention, by taking Crowley back to the bunker. The detoxing process isn't pretty to watch, but at the very least, it would seem that Crowley has information about the First Blade, all of which happens to involve a submarine and some pirates. The boys manage to locate it, just as they realize that Abaddon also knows about the First Blade thanks to Lola, and she's hot on the trail too. It's just a treasure hunt, with two enemies waging a battle against one another for the same object.

Locating Magnus

A curator wastes no time as she shamelessly makes a pass at Dean and tells the boys that the First Blade was sold to a mysterious man named Magnus. This just so happens to also be the alias used by the Men of Letters. Sam and Dean discover that the Men of Letters kicked out a member before they were all wiped out, a Master of Spells named Cuthbert Sinclair. He now goes by the name Magnus, and he's a really neat character, one  of the best that Supernatural has seen in a pretty long time. So, in true Supernatural fashion, he dies no more than 15 minutes  after he shows up on screen. Magnus lives in an invisible mansion and has not aged a day since the 50s, thanks in part to the mystical spells he learned over the years. His house is a big musuem of all supernatural creatures and a home to many rare antiquities. He's a creepy, nerdy, magical collector. For some reason, he's amused by the boys, but becomes a little too interested when he discovers that Dean has the Mark of Cain. Magnus then uses his magic to make Sam disappear and proceeds to tie up Dean.

Dean & The Mark of Cain

Magnus wants Dean to become his companion (creepy, much?) and stay with him in the invisible house as part of his collection. Dean isn't so eager, until Magnus takes away Dean’s will and puts the First Blade into his hand. The Mark of Cain glows bright and something mysteriously bad starts to happen to Dean. Kind of like what happens when Bruce Banner starts to Hulk out. Lucky for us, Sam figures out a spell he can use to get back into the invisible house and takes Crowley with him. After a minor distraction, Dean is freed and beheads Magnus. That’s too bad, he was pretty interesting. I'm secretly hoping that the guy Dean beheaded was just another shapeshifter and that Magnus is still out there somewhere.

Crowley Can’t Be Trusted

Dean is BEYOND horrified when he discovers that Abaddon found them and took out her anger by keying the Impala. Sam tells Dean that, now that they have the First Blade, Crowley is basically useless. As the guys try and make a move, Crowley knocks them on their asses and makes a run for it with the First Blade. It's a move we all saw coming, the inevitable Crowley double-cross, as he basically screwed the boys over without even so much as a kiss goodnight. He takes the First Blade and promises to give it back when the boys find Abaddon so they can kill her and hopefully not him. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the boys, but if Sam and Dean weren't so damn busy fighting with each other all the time, they would have been able to see this coming from the start.

That concludes this recap for Supernatural! Stay tuned for next week on Supernatural: It's the first  episode directed by Misha Collins, with flashbacks to Grandpa Henry Winchester's time with the Men of Letters! Until then, do as the Winchesters do and stay classy!
