The newly released track is quite different to music Dion has previously released. In an interview with Billboard, the singer claims, “I am not trying to reinvent myself […] I am at a place in my career where I’m 45, I’m at the peak of my life, and I’ve never felt like this before. I want to have a good time.”

Dion also admitted that she is “at the mercy of the songs” as she doesn’t write any of her material. In fact, she was concerned that there wouldn’t be any good material for her. She described her fear as having asked herself, “Do you think people will write songs for me?” Instead, she had a number of people want to work with the Diva. The newly released dubstep track was co-written by Sia Furler, who has worked with Rhianna and Flo Rida among others. Dion described the upcoming album as her “edgiest project to date.”

Loved Me Back To Life will mark her first English language release in 6 years. Her last album was 2007’s Taking Chances. The album is set to be released on 5th November 2013.
