Channing Tatum has reportedly exited the upcoming Marvel film 'Gambit'.
This is especially bad news for the studio, as the stand alone 'X-Men' spin off film was set to go before cameras this October, and it now leaves the future of the film in question. There's been no word if production has been halted, but one would have to assume it has been.
The film was expected in October of 2016, which would follow other Marvel flicks 'Deadpool' (February 15th) and 'X-Men: Apocalypse' (May 27th).
No word from the studio or Tatum at this time.
This of course comes on the heels of Tatum joining his now former Marvel buddies for that huge onstage selfie at the San Diego Comic Con.
Anyone else REALLY bummed about this? I truly thought he would have made this role his own.
Who do you guys want to see step into the role of Gambit if Channing Tatum 's exit proves to be legit?
