Actor Channing Tatum gave some unsuspecting fans a surprise appearance during a first screening of Magic Mike XXL - the sequel to 2012's Magic Mike- when the 35 year old actor disguised himself as an old man playing a marketing research executive for the film's production company.
"To give the fans the best show possible, I'm going to go undercover and make sure that happens," Tatum says.
The video, which can be viewed below, was done by Omaze, a charity in which Tatum is involved with. It gives people an opportunity to take part in a raffle of their choice for a chance to win anything they desire with proceeds going to helping various charities that Omaze features on their website. The charity was started when a couple of broke college grads were outbid for courtside Lakers tickets with Magic Johnson- after feeling lousy about it, the guys thought:
"What if we made these same types of opportunities available online, and for a $10 donation everyone could have a chance at winning? We could help generate significantly more money and awareness for deserving causes, and all people could share the chance to live out dream experiences."
And that’s how Omaze was born.
This time the organisation is giving you a chance to attend the film's premiere and meet Channing Tatum himself. How cool is that?! Handsome, sexy and generous. Who wouldn't want to dance with him?
Visit the website here for more details on the contest.
Magic Mike XXL will be released early next month.
What do you think? Did Channing fool you?
