Today Charlene Kaye announced the calendar of dates for her upcoming spring tour and a killer line up of acts to go along with it. The tour will be a co-headlining effort with Alexz Johnson and include Misty Boyce & Jay Stolar as opening acts.
The tour will kick off in the group’s ‘home base’ of New York City on February 28th at the Highline Ballroom before hitting up major cities up and down both coasts. Also included on the tour are a stop in Toronto, Ontario & a show in Austix, TX during SXSW, a annual conference & festival about music, film & technology.

Charlene Kaye is a New York based singer, songwriter & musician whose latest album, Animal Love, was completely funded by Kickstarter backers. Charlene spent much of 2012 touring in support of the album and opened for Team Starkid on their two tours wildly successful tours. Her duet, “Dress & Tie,” with longtime friend Darren Criss was even featured in promos for NBC’s “Chuck” and boarding music for Delta Airlines.
Alexz Johnson is a Canadian-born performer who landed the lead role of Jude Harrison on CTV’s Instant Star in 2004. After 4 seasons and a Gemini award win, the show’s run ended and Alexz ended up moving to New York City to figure out her sound. Since moving to New York Alexz has worked on music in LA & Nashville, culminating in her new independently released EP, Skipping Stone.
