Charlotte Kirk Drops Video For “I Get The Feeling Again”

Singer and actress Charlotte Kirk has lead a very busy 2016, including a new movie role and the release of her new single, I Get The Feeling Again.

Charlotte Kirk is an amazing singer/actress from England who has worked on projects from Vice and has a project on the way, starring as Nicole Brown Simpson in The Framing of OJ Simpson. You would think, with a new movie role to keep her busy, she might be putting music on hold, but she just released a new song called “I Get the Feeling Again.”

Charlotte Kirk: “I Get The Feeling Again”

PopWrapped: What was the inspiration behind “I Get The Feeling Again”?

Charlotte Kirk: The song is inspired by those butterflies you get when you go on dates with someone you could fall in love with. For the video, the director added a dilemma which resonated with me because I’m crazy about dogs, especially Frenchies! So what happens to those butterflies if your dog doesn’t approve of your exciting new man?

PW: When you’re working on music, what is your perfect place and space of mind?

CK: Most days, I do an intensive workout in the gym which totally clears my mind. After that, so long as I have a strong cup of English breakfast tea, I’m ready to be creative just about anywhere. As my acting coach says, always live in the art!

PW: Who are your musical inspirations?

CK: Lionel Richie, Billy Ocean, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion. I love R&B, Hip-Hop, Usher and Rihanna (who’s also in the movie I’m shooting, Ocean’s 8).

PW: How do you feel about playing such an iconic role in the The Framing of O.J. Simpson?

CK: As a British actress, I’m honored to be chosen to play Nicole Brown Simpson in what will be a very revealing and controversial movie. When I first read the riveting script, I was drawn to the role because the writer-director has brought out Nicole’s fun-loving humorous side, and I work equally well with comedy as I do with drama. In fact, my new picture, No Panic With A Hint of Hysteria, a hysterical 1940s-style comedy thriller in which I star alongside Stephen Baldwin, is being released today!

PW: You’re ending 2016 with a bang. What can we expect from you in 2017?

CK: I’ve got several things lined up for 2017. Apart from playing Nicole, I’m shooting Ocean’s 8. There are also two studio projects I’m the female lead in which I’m sworn to secrecy about — one a big action movie sequel and the other a heroine in a breathtaking period epic! On the music side, I’ll be releasing my second song and music video, “Eyes In Love”, in a couple of months, and I’ve got two other songs in mind to follow.
