We, here at PopWrapped, are busy keeping you up-to-date on all things Comic Con, so we have a special update full of schedules for the four day event next week. From Q&A panels and screenings, it’s all here!
Before the fun even begins, there are screenings of four Warner Brothers TV shows; Almost Human, The Originals, The Tomorrow People, and The 100, on Wednesday.
The opening day offers a multitude of events from a panel of composers for different superhero movies, different video games being made into movies, interviews with DreamWorks, and an interview panel with the stars of Teen Wolf. The panel for the MTV show will include Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, Crystal Reed, Holland Roden, Daniel Sharman and new stars Max and Charlie Carver, as well as executive producer Jeff Davis.
Friday is a day for Trekkies. A panel will be held to discuss the history and future of the Star Trek franchise, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2016. The Roger Rabbit movie is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and will honor the anniversary with a panel including clips from the making of the classic film. Joss Whedon is having a session all to himself! Whedon will be answering all questions about his career and maybe even about his new Twitter habit.
Saturday promises to be huge with a jam-packed session from Warner Brothers that takes an in-depth look at the successful films that have come out of the company over the years. Marvel president and producer Kevin Feige will be there to discuss the comic moguls’ success and provide an inside look of some upcoming events along with some very special guests.
Even though Sunday is the last day, Comic Con is pulling out all the stops. There will be a film festival award ceremony. The stars of the CW show Supernatural will be around to conduct a Q&A session. The cast from the BBC network phenomenon Doctor Who will have a session about the show; which is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary.
Comic Con starts Wednesday, July 17, and goes till Sunday the 21st.
