Cheryl Cole Performs 'Only Human' In An Acoustic Session | Cheryl Cole
Media Courtesy of
Cheryl Cole is preparing for the release of her fourth studio album, Only Human. The songstress has yet to go out and do some hardcore promo for the record, but she's been treating fans with acoustic sessions for a while now. The latest clip coming from those finds her performing the title track. After performing a stripped down version of her Tinie Tempah-assisted lead single, "Crazy Stupid Love", and a super-judged mash-up of TLC's "Unpretty" with Beyoncé's "Pretty Hurts", the former Girls Aloud bandmate sits down to do "Only Human". The track itself has already been marked as the best slow track she's ever put out so far, as well as one of her career stand-outs. The acoustic version definitely gives a different feeling to the Imogen Heap-inspired tune and Cheryl manages to pull it off perfectly. It's truth that Ms. Fernandez-Versini is definitely not known for her vocal ability, especially if you've watched her performance at the Diamond Jubilee concert a couple of years ago. However, she does "Only Human" justice and sings beautifully on top of the simple, piano-driven melody. Cheryl might not be a vocal powerhouse and her vocal rendition might not be perfect, but she can sing her own track properly and she really has improved a lot. Check out her acoustic session for yourself below.
