When it comes to industries such as modeling and fashion, there’s probably no one more suitable than Cindy Crawford to be addressed. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the supermodel is in early talks about executive producing a model-themed television series.
According to new reports, Cindy Crawford has been in talks with NBC for a while to create a fictional series about the world of fashion in the 80′s. More specifically, the show is expected to revolve around the feud between Ford Modeling Agency and Elite Model Management, only without calling out names or doing those shady who’s-who kind of games. Even though there will be no accurate facts included, it will be interesting to get a better understanding of what went down in fashion back in the day.
The show, currently using the working title Icon, will mark as the supermodel’s producing debut in television. Universal TV has handed the project to the likes of Robin Bissell, Anne Heche and James Tupper as well. It’s already pretty clear though that Cindy Crawford will only be taking action behind the scenes and not on camera.
