Plot holes and whispers and no safety warnings—oh my! Cinema Sins released its most recent video, which covers the glaring deficits of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

The film is based off of the third installment of the same name in the magical series by JK Rowling. The series follows the misadventures of a young boy and his friends as they grow up in the wizarding world.

Cinema Sins awarded the film adaptation 70 overall ‘sins.’ These were awarded for plot holes and odd coincidences, including: “secret” conversations, vague hints from teachers, and the school’s overall disregard for the safety of its students.

These are just a few, but the message is pretty plain.

The main sin is the time travel. Harry Potter and Hermione Granger use her Time Turner to travel back in time to stop the execution of the hippogriff, Buckbeak. The movie’s dealings with time travel are poked and laughed at, and ultimately labeled as a paradox.

Time travelers, after all, should do their best not to alter their present.

Unless you’re Harry Potter… or the Doctor… or Captain Jack Harkness….

Cinema Sins has mocked several other big name films, including Man of Steel and previous Harry Potter films.

Last month saw JK Rowling confirm the stage play based on the Harry Potter books. The play will follow Harry’s life pre-wizarding world, and will begin its development in the West End.
