Sony Pictures is bringing the classic novel, Little Women to the big screen once more with Olivia Milch writing the script. Written by Louisa May Alcott, the novel will be produced into a film adaption by Denise Di Novi, the producer of Crazy.Stupid.Love and Robin Swicord, whose credits include The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. The novel, was first published back in 1868, focuses on the lives of Mary, Jo, Beth, and Amy March through their journey from childhood to womanhood during the civil war; the story is loosely based on the lives of Alcott and her sisters. The most recent film version was released in 1994 and starred Winona Ryder and Kirsten Dunst. Previous versions starred Elizabeth Taylor (1949) and Katharine Hepburn (1933). With no big credits so far, this will be the first major project for Milch, who is the daughter of screenwriter/producer David Milch. http://www.Twitter.com/PopWrapped http://www.PopWrapped.Tumblr.com/ http://www.SoundCloud.com/PopWrapped http://www.Facebook.com/PopWrapped http://www.Instagram.com/PopWrapped http://www.Pinterest.com/PopWrapped http://www.YouTube.com/PopWrapped http://www.PopWrapped.wordpress.com/ http://www.PopWrapped.com
