Attention music mavens & desert warriors, your favourite time of the year draws near! Last night the lineup for this year’s Coachella Music Festival was announced and headliners this year include: the Stone Roses, Blur, Phoenix and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Reunions also seem to be in the cards this year for many bands including headliners Blur, Stone Roses, New Order, Wu-Tang Clan, and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Get ready to be flooded with nostalgic feelings and good memories.
Some of my favourites I pulled out of the lineup include: Postal Service, Metric, Vampire Weekend, Of Monsters & Men, Two Door Cinema Club, FOALS, Janelle Monae, Tegan and Sara, The Lumineers, The Gaslight Anthem, Alex Clare, and Little Green Cars. Essentially, if you’re a crazy music lover like I am, you have a field day at Coachella with personal favourites and new discoveries.
This year’s Coachella will again take place over 2 weekends in April (12th – 14th & 19th – 21st) and passes go on sale Tuesday January 29th at 10 am PST (1 pm EST). There are slightly different ticketing rules so make sure you head over to www.coachella.com if you plan on attending!
