College Students Launches Week Long Random Acts of Kindness

Sarah Goddard

Staff Writer

Starting Monday, college students across the U.S. have a reason to keep an eye out. MTV Networks are launching a new segment titled “Random Acts of MTVu” whereby they will be surprising unsuspecting and deserving college students throughout the U.S. with, you guessed it, random acts of generosity. These “Random Acts” will include a $24,000 tuition gift, VIP passes, gear, gift cards, a grant and a trip to the MTV Video Music Awards, and will be handed out with the help of some very special guest stars.

Each segment, which will premiere daily during the 4pm EDT/PDT hour on MTV, will see these celebs help out in the handing out of these incredible gifts to those worthy and deserving students. The surprises get underway on Monday April 6 with

Usher

 and MTV’s own

Sway Calloway

, followed Tuesday with

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis

, Wednesday with

Nick Cannon

and rounding out on Thursday with

Darren Criss
