The Modern Family cast are currently filming a new episode in Las Vegas. They’ve invited a couple of guest stars along.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’s Patton Oswalt and Portlandia’s Fred Armisen will star in an upcoming episode of the ABC show.

Both have significant experience with stand-up comedy; Armisen was on Saturday Night Live for four years, and Oswalt has a couple of Comedy Central specials under his belt.

Armisen guest stars as Langham, an ex-boyfriend of Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s character Mitchell, who’s having a bachelor party in Sin City with his partner. Oswalt plays Ducky Schindler, leader of a group of magicians that catch Phil’s (Ty Burrell) attention.

Vegas won’t be the only trip the cast makes this season.

As we previously reported, they’ll also be shooting a vacation episode in Australia next month, with the show’s co-creator Steven Levitan calling it their “most ambitious” endeavor so far.

Both episodes are expected to air later this spring.
