Could Justin Timberlake Be Wearing Question Marks In The Future?

Justin Timberlake has declared that he really wants to bring the sexy back to the Batman franchise and play infamous villain, The Riddler.

Amidst rumors that JT may be reuniting with his former Runner, Runner co-star by playing Robin to Ben Affleck’s Batman, Justin said: “Not a chance in hell. I ain’t playing Robin. I have no aspiration to ever be a superhero in a movie.”

He continued, while on Fresh 102.7’s Jim & Kim show, saying: “Now, a villain! I’ll tell you the villain I want to play more than anything because I grew up loving Batman, funnily enough, is The Riddler. The Riddler is my favorite villain.”

“The Riddler was like a sociopath. He was proper crazy. So if I’m gonna play crazy, I’m wanna play proper crazy.”

The last actor to don that crazy green question mark suit was Jim Carrey; and role that was pretty much made for him. We know Justin has been working on his acting chops, and he’s certainly got the comedic angle down, but playing a villain is a horse of a different color. I could totally dig it.

Justin has also publically defended Zach Snyder’s choice for the next Batman after it was announced that Ben Affleck would be the next actor to take the wheel of the Bat Mobile; a choice that caused the digital universe to literally explode with [mostly] righteous anger and displeasure.

"Ben Affleck as Batman, I like it," Timberlake defended. "I worked with Ben last summer and I’ve seen his process. I think he’s a brilliant filmmaker. I think he’s an extreme talent so he could surprise a lot of people."

Their mutual flick, Runner, Runner, is set to hit theaters on October 4 in the US and September 27 in the UK. You can check out the trailer below.
