Courtney’s ultimate goal in her career is to help everyone who comes across her music feel, seen, safe, beautiful, sexy, powerful but most importantly, unstoppable in the skin they are in.
It’s no secret that we are living in a society that is fighting everyday to normalize the stigmas surrounding mental health. Serotonin, nicknamed the “happy chemical” is not something that everyone can naturally produce on their own. In Govan’s latest single, “Serotonin” represents getting out of your own head and allowing yourself to find anything and everything that makes you happy instead of just waiting for it to happen.
“I wrote this song [Serotonin] as a response to my recently released EP, FEELINGS . I wanted to create something that not only made you get up and dance but also something that truly captured how important it is to go out and FIND your happiness.. Whenever I get in my own way I am going to blast this song and sing it at the top of my lungs and I want my fans to do it right along with me!
This stunning new single from Courtney Govan is Whitney Houston and Kygo inspired. Courtney worked alongside Pascal Pahl to craft the perfect track, in which we can find comfort in when we are in times of need of some inspiration and motivation to continue to live each day to the fullest.
We at PopWrapped are obsessed with the artistry that Courtney Govan embodies and it’s no doubt that she has such a bright career ahead of her. If you are as excited as we are, you can follow her journey on Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook.
