Once a great talk show host, always a great talk show host. Craig Ferguson is apparently in talks to host a new syndicated talk show that will air at 7PM on various Tribune carriers.

The most exciting news is that Craig’s animatronic robot sidekick, Geoff Peterson, will also be joining him on the new show. The pair have become iconic in the comedy world, and Ferguson and Geoff’s voice-actor/operator Josh Robert Thompson have a rapport that not many comedy duos can claim to have.

Ferguson is also the host of David Arquette and Courtney Cox’s game show, Celebrity Name Game, which will premiere in September this year.

As previously reported, Ferguson will leave his position as host of The Late Late Show at the end of the year, handing the reigns over to James Corden, who was recently announced as his successor.
