For fans of the ever-expanding world of Sherlock Holmes adaptations, you are in luck! Focus Home Interactive, an independent publisher of computer games founded in 1996, has recently announced a new game in the works called Crimes and Punishments. This Sherlock Holmes series game is in development by Frogwares, a company known for their independent adventure game development. The company explained that the game will contain eight different cases in which the player will have to lead Holmes, not only solving the cases, but also making “important moral choices instead of simply enforcing justice by the book.”
Frogwares has decided to release the new game on a different engine than before, choosing Unreal Engine 3 for this game. They also felt an upgrade from their previous look for Holmes was needed and decided on a more modern style. Crime and Punishments will be available on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, but the release date is unknown, other than that it will be sometime this year.
What are the Sherlock Holmes fans’ deductions?
