Dalton Mauldin Releases First Official Music Video, “Closure”

Social Media influencer, singer-songwriter, and college student, Dalton Mauldin has just released his first official music video for “Closure” off of his “gray” EP. Dalton was born and raised in Florida and grew up with baseball always being his true love. It wasn’t until recently, he found an additional love.

However, in high school, he developed a new love when one of his friends gave him a hand me down guitar that was just collecting dust in a closet. He took it home one night & began watching YouTube videos on how to play & fell in love almost instantly. Now, he’s confident his music will resonate with his massive audience.

2 years ago, Dalton Mauldin packed up everything he knew in Florida and headed to Nashville on a Baseball Scholarship where he now is a full-time student and athlete at Trevecca Nazarene University. When left with some time to breathe, and think, Dalton spends his time writing and recording music in his bedroom, a place where many emerging talents begin planning and paving out their route to music full time.

Closure was written about a time that I figured out that the relationship I was trying to mend, wasn’t going to work out anymore. The night that I figured it out, instead of being upset about the situation while I was with her, I took it with a grain of salt and just enjoyed being in the moment and accepted it for what it was, the closure. “this is the closure, so can you come closer.” – Dalton explained.

The video was directed and shot by Jaide Langley. You can follow along Dalton’s journey on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. “Closure” is out now on all major streaming platforms, worldwide. Additionally, rumor has it, there is more on the way! You’re not going to want to miss it.
