We have certainly missed seeing Dan Stevens’ angelic face every week on Downton Abbey this season. Now it appears that we’ll soon be seeing much more of him on the big screen.
Earlier this week, we brought you the news that Stevens had joined the cast of Night at the Museum 3, starring as Sir Lancelot. He will star alongside Ben Stiller and Robin Williams who return to the franchise once again.
Now we bring you the news that he will be teaming up with another comedian. Variety reports that Stevens has signed on to Adam Sandler’s latest film, the Tom McCarthy-directed drama, The Cobbler.
Little is known about his role in the production. It is understood that he would film this before moving onto shooting for Night at the Museum.
Filming for both of these productions has yet to get underway. However, you can next catch Stevens in Adam Wingard’s The Guest, and A Walk Among the Tombstones with Liam Neeson.
