Last night will definitely make this elimination round that much tougher!!

Dancing with The Stars really amped up the competition, and with more and more couples receiving 8s and 9s, it’s crazy to me that it’s only the second week of the season.

After another killer intro from some of the ladies, it was time to get right down to business, with 3 couples:

Randy & Karina (8th place), Betsey & Tony (8th place), and Lea & Atrem (1st place) 

And all 3 couples were safe!!

I can’t say how happy this made me, because it appeared that Betsey had resigned herself to be in jeopardy for the second time, and her reaction to being safe made me smile. She really showed what she’s capable of last night, and I wasn’t ready to say goodbye.

Time for our guest stars!

Chart toppers Nico & Vinz took the stage with their single “Am I Wrong” while Val scorched up the dance floor with the already safe Karina and Peta. As much as I do love the song, my eyes were transfixed on our lovely dancers.

Time for more results though:

Tommy & Peta (8th place), Jonathan & Allison (7th place) and Michael & Emma (12th place)

Unfortunately, only 2 of them would be safe……

And Michael and Emma fell into the dreaded jeopardy spot.

After an encore performance from Janel and Val (I wanted to see Lea and Artem), the results continued to come fast and furious.

Bethany & Derek (3rd place), Janel & Val (2nd place), Sadie & Mark (5th place)

Sadie and Mark were the next couple to join Michael and Emma and do you think the fans were turned off of the banter between Mark and head judge Len after last night?

Now it was time for one HELL of a fierce performer!!!

The brilliant Sia performed “Chandelier”, but this time was not just joined by the incredible Maddie Ziegler.

New “DWTS” pro Allison Holker joined the pair for a brilliant routine once again. We were then treated to an even bigger surprise:

For Movie Night next week, mega-hilarious movie star Kevin Hart will be sitting in for Len as he travels back across the pond for Strictly Come Dancing in London.

How HILARIOUS is he going to be!?

We were then treated to a really fun routine featuring Julianne Hough dancing with the male pros to the tune of “Love Runs Out” by OneRepublic. Seriously, find it on YouTube and watch it.

Now for the final couples to hear their results:

Alfonso & Witney (4th place), Antonio & Cheryl (5th place), Tavis & Sharna (8th place)

Tavis and Sharna were unfortunately the final couple to be in jeopardy, which meant it all came down to them, Sadie & Mark, and Michael & Emma.

Final judgment of the night came in:

And Sadie & Mark were SAFE.

It was down to Tavis/Sharna and Michael/Emma…

And Tavis and Sharna went home.

Have to admit some shock in the ballroom, because I was sure that Michael’s journey had come to an end, but the voters thought differently.
