While promoting his upcoming movie Kill Your Darlings, Daniel Radcliffe made a startling confession, he’d like to die on a movie set. Though he quickly added, “later rather than sooner.” This shouldn't come as a surprise. Radcliffe practically grew up on a film set, he was all of 11 when he began shooting Harry Potter. "There's an assumption that people make where if you've grown up on a set, surely you must be tired of that or want to go somewhere else, but actually, I've never known anything but being on film sets and I love them. They are places of immense comfort and familiarity,” He explained. There was a brief period when Daniel begin to doubt his home away from home. He also revealed that he had thoughts of possibly giving up his role when the filming of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban wrapped. "By the third film, I thought, 'If there's a time to get out, it's now; there's still enough time for another actor to come in and establish himself,” Radcliffe replied. His fear was that he wouldn't be able to move on once the series had finished and maybe he needed to explore other options. In the end he realized that Harry Potter was just too much fun and the perfect role for a teenage boy, and it did anything but stunt his career. Daniel has gone to star as J. Pierrpont Finch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on Broadway, gone full frontal in Equus and his latest project Kill Your Darlings seems to be another triumph for the young actor. Kill Your Darlings is currently playing in limited release in the US and will hit theaters in the UK on December 6th.
