After all the years he’s spent “branching out” into weird and wonderful roles hoping to avoid being typecast as our favourite bespectacled young wizard, it’s unsurprising that Dan is reluctant to return. We reserve the right to clutch at those straws though. Last month he stressed that though he was sure JK Rowling and Warner Bros would have “a great time” making the new Harry Potter-inspired movie series Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, he knew “absolutely nothing about it”. And this week he’s firmly addressed the matter in a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter. “I don't think I'm going to be coming back,” Radcliffe admitted. “We can't be doing these characters when we're 40, so there has to be a line drawn.” However, he did add that if the right Rowling script came along, he’d be the first to throw his Hogwarts hat into the ring. “Because I never know what Jo [Rowling] is going to write, but at the moment I'm in the same position that everyone else is in - waiting to hear what information is coming out because I don't know anything about these new films.” Of course we Potterheads are well aware that the original Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them book is set many years prior to Harry’s existence - so it’s incredibly unlikely that any current Potter stars will be approached for a cameo role. Unless “time travel rears its head again. I'll be intrigued to see what she does.” Us too, Dan. Us too. We can’t wait to get wind of more news about this latest addition to the Potterverse... Full steam ahead folks, it’s gonna be bumpy ride. http://www.Twitter.com/PopWrapped http://www.PopWrapped.Tumblr.com/ http://www.SoundCloud.com/PopWrapped http://www.Facebook.com/PopWrapped http://www.Instagram.com/PopWrapped http://www.Pinterest.com/PopWrapped http://www.YouTube.com/PopWrapped http://www.PopWrapped.wordpress.com/ http://www.PopWrapped.com
