Darren Criss’ summer tour continues to heat up!
After making stops in Indianapolis, Chicago and Cleveland, the actor-singer who plays fan-favorite Blaine Anderson on the hit FOX show, Glee, will travel up northeast to play four concerts of his highly successful and sold out Listen UP Tour.
On his New York and Boston stops, Darren will be joined by tour mate rocker Theo Katzman and pop act Charlene Kaye and the Brilliant Eyes.
“So excited to announce that we’ll be opening for my dear friends Darren Criss and Theo Katzman at the NYC and Boston Shows of Darren’s Listen UP tour!” Kaye posted on Facebook.
Since her post on the social network that Mark Zuckerberg built, Charlene Kaye received 356 likes, 32 shares and dozen of comments.
To prepare for Criss’s visit to Beantown, the House of Blues in Boston has started a contest that will allow two fans to see Darren, Theo and Charlene in action and on the house.
The House of Blues in Boston also stated to fans that they would only count one entry per person.
While Criss is conquering the United States, the Glee actor will take a break from his North America tour and fly to the City of Lights for a special event.
“Since I’ll be in Paris for the Girl Most Likely screening at @CEfilmfestival, I’ve added an acoustic show June 17.” Said Criss, who tweeted his fans on May 21.
That tweet received over 1,400 retweets and was favored almost 1,500 times.
Criss has been touring to promote his first full-length solo album. He has played selections from Glee, several StarKid shows and his HUMAN EP.
