It has been a full decade since Dave Chappelle held his Brooklyn Block Party in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of New York City. He announced today that, once again, he is bringing some huge names in music back to the Big Apple. This time, however, Chappelle's shows are going to be even more epic as he will not only perform comedy, he will have some of the most talented contemporary musicians on stage with him.
Starting June 24th, 2014, Chappelle will take the stage at Radio City Music Hall alongside names like The Roots, Erykah Badu, Janelle Monáe, DJ Premier and Busta Rhymes. All of these guests will be accompanied by a full orchestra.
That's not the entire story, however. Chappelle also announced, that in addition to these shows, more performers will be announced and he will be performing stand-up for five nights in a row at Radio City from June 18 - 22. Unfortunately, the comedy shows are sold out. If you want tickets to the other shows, act fast! They go on sale tomorrow, May 29th.
