Davenport University Student Face Plants At Graduation After Failed Back Flip

Ouch! No really… OUCH!

The graduation backflip is a time honored tradition. Who doesn’t feel like flipping or jumping for joy once you’ve finally graduated from college? On Sunday, April 27^th, Davenport University student Robert Jeffrey Blank was handed his diploma and went for it.

His attempted backflip went awry… and he landed flat on his face. The loud THUD could be heard ringing through the very quiet auditorium. Robert quickly picked himself up, shook it off, and walked off the stage. Here’s to hoping his future career turns out better than his backflip and that his face is okay.
