Staff Writer @MovieUnchainedWarning: Spoilers ahead! American Horror Story has had its share of eclectic cast members, which include Academy Award winners, television superstars, and obscure character actors. One of the latter is Denis O'Hare, who stole the show in AHS: Murder House and AHS: Coven, and it was announced today that we'll be seeing a whole lot more of Mr. O'Hare in the upcoming season, as he's finally taking a co-lead position across from the legendary Jessica Lange in Freak Show. O'Hare is one of many AHS alumni taking up residence at the carnival, including Kathy Bates, Gabourey Sidibe, Frances Conroy, Evan Peters and Emma Roberts, and newcomers like Michael Chiklis. Only Lange and Chiklis have had details about their characters revealed, with Lange playing a German ex-patriate and rumored ex-Nazi who manages a failing carnival freak show, and Chiklis will be playing the husband of Bates and father of Evan Peters, who are both circus performers themselves. Now O'Hare has joined them as the freak collector who locks horns with Jessica Lange's character, with O'Hare saying, "We'll have lots of scenes with each other, but we'll be battling." American Horror Story: Freak Show will premiere in the last quarter of the year, most likely around Halloween like the previous three seasons.
