Jason Derulo And Paul Abdul Join SYTYCD Judging Panel

It has just been announced that Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo will sit on the judges panel for the upcoming new season of competition show, SYTYCD!

Goodbye Mary Murphy, hello Paula Abdul!!

Paula Abdul is set to return to Fox in a big way, but no she’s not headed back to American Idol.

The iconic singer/dancer/choreographer is set to replace exiting judge, Mary Murphy, on So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD)!

Paula will join long time judge, producer Nigel Lythgoe, as well as singer/dancer Jason Derulo.

Cat Deeley will also return to host.

The upcoming season of the long running Fox hit will feature, for the first time, a “Street Vs Stage” concept. More details are sure to emerge the closer we get to the summer return.

Paula released a statement on joining the program:

I have dedicated a large part of my career as a choreographer to discovering and mentoring some of the most iconic artists and performers from all over the world.

So You Think You Can Dance has a long-standing history of launching brilliant careers for young choreographers and dancers in the industry. It’s going to be a true honor and pleasure joining this panel with Jason and Nigel, and I’m looking forward to an exciting new season.
