Diane Keaton is set to accept Woody Allen’s honorary Golden Globe at the awards show in January, Digital Spy reports. Keaton and Allen had a romantic relationship in the 70s and remain close friends today.

It was announced in September that Allen would be receiving the Cecil B DeMille Award. The award is given to “talented individuals who have made an incredible impact on the world of entertainment.” Hollywood Foreign Press Association president, Theo Kingma, said, “There is no-one more worthy of this award than Woody Allen.”
“His contributions to filmmaking have been phenomenal and he truly is an international treasure.” The most recent recipient of the award was Jodie Foster, who decided to come out during her speech. Past recipients also include, Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, Martin Scorsese, and Steven Spielburg.

Allen is famous for avoiding award shows, despite having four Academy Awards and two Golden Globes. He did make an exception for the 2002 Oscars, when he delivered a tribute to New York City after 9/11.

The Golden Globe Awards will air January 12 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host.
