Hey Zelda fans! As you probably know, Nintendo has seen the games of its The Legend Of Zelda series being some of the most successful video games to date. The legacy goes on with the latest title, A Link Between Two Worlds on 3DS, being a huge hit with fans, and we suspect the upcoming release for Wii U, although currently unnamed, will be too.

For now, Zelda fans can direct their attention to something else. Something very different. Something coming as soon as this month: Hyrule Warriors!

The game is not going to be the "regular" adventure we're used to getting from the series. Instead, it combines The Legend of Zelda with the gameplay of Dynasty Warriors, which is more known for its action/battle style than its adventuring. Warriors, as its fans will know, offers the simple kind of fights. The ones where you focus on fighting throughout the game and kill dozens at once, taking place in epic battlefields. Of course, there are gigantic bosses you have to face, and you'll need more of a technique to get them down.

So as you can see, it's not quite a Zelda game. It does play much more like a Dynasty Warriors title. However, it does take place in Hyrule, and it features all our favorite characters from The Legend Of Zelda. If you don't believe it could be effective, think of it as a break between Link's adventures to just fight around and have some fun for a while. With a plot too, which we won't spoil!

Oh and, you actually get to play as other popular characters from the franchise. This includes Midna from Twilight Princess, Fi from Skyward Sword, and minor characters like Agitha, Impa, Princess Ruto and many more! Talk about hype!

Hyrule Warriors will be available for purchase on September 26 for the Wii U. Are you excited? Tell us in the comments below!
