Digital Doja : How The megastar is supporting girls who Code

When the technology meets creativity, it serves up a great deal of innovation, new art and advanced discoveries. Grammy-nominee and global superstar, Doja Cat, recently dropped a futuristic music video for ‘Woman’ – a song from her latest album, ‘Planet Her’.

But one of the most captivating complements to this release, is the partnership with Doja Cat and Girls Who Code (a non-profit tech organisation) debuting the “first ever” codable music video. With 24% of the world’s Computer Scientists being female, Girls Who Code is on a mission to inspire and close the gender gap in tech.

The organisation has reached over 500M folks through their campaigns, online resources and books and has served over 450,000 girls through programs, clubs and college activations.

The announcement was tweeted with much excitement, as the interactive experience allows for users to execute programmatic commands at different scenes and get their own customisable video link to share at the end.

CEO of Girls Who Code, Dr. Tarika Barrett shared a #MomJoke with her followers on how the experience was going for her.

In a Popwrapped sneak peek , here’s a look at the coding interface.
