Justin Bieber did say he was coming back in a big way with new music–it’s been two years since his last project, Journals.
Yesterday (Feb. 26), Diplo and Skrillex (known jointly as Jack U) released a collaboration they’ve done with the pop star.
It’s called “Where Are U Now,” and I cannot wait to hear this blasting from cars as we move into warmer weather. It’s an EDM project reminiscent of Bieber’s feature on Will.I.Am’s #ThatPower, and I love his vocals on it. Jack U produced a flawless beat, which is nearly anthem-like at points before it drops and takes you on an incredible ride.
Jack U, meanwhile, just dropped their surprise album last night (these surprise albums are becoming a thing, hmm Beyonce?), during a 24-hour DJ party they streamed live on their website. It’s entitled Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack U, and it features collabs with 2 Chainz and Kiesza, among others.
