It seems as though Disneyland will have to await the arrival of MagicBands longer, Disneyland park VP, Mary Niven, says.
The bands are successful in DisneyWorld, which is located in Orlando, Florida, as compared to Disneyland in Anaheim, California. The bracelets allow guests to have access to their hotel key card, park admission, and even a credit card!
Even though they are heavily used in Florida, the bands don’t fit with the area of Disneyland, according to Niven, who says guests don’t stay as long at the resort hotels.
I have to add though, the option of having my park admission and credit card in one place without having to carry a bag seems pretty nice, whether I’m staying in the resort hotel or not.
However, on the bright side, there's been news that the Star Wars attractions will be IN ADDITION to the parks, rather than replacing any well-known, loved rides.
