Whilst Whovians worldwide celebrate The Day of the Doctor, the BBC has released the teaser trailer for this year’s Christmas Special
Featuring some of the Doctor’s most feared enemies, including Cybermen, Daleks, Weeping Angels and the Silence, the trailer shows the Doctor right back in Trenzalore.
Finishing with the ominous and now well-known ‘Silence Will Fall’, the trailer prepares fans for the confirmed regeneration of the 11th Doctor, played by Matt Smith, and the entrance of Peter Capaldi’s incarnation.
On a day of celebration for fans worldwide, this trailer will have them desperate for the next instalment. Fortunately, Christmas is only a few weeks away, and the mystery of just how ‘Silence will fall’ for the 11th Doctor will soon be solved.
