Hold tight, Whovians. It’s almost time!

Next Saturday, August 23rd, sees the Doctor returning to our TV screens, and the BBC has confirmed Doctor Who‘s new time slot–and it’s a good one!

The feature length episode is going to air at 7:50pm. Get your place on the sofa ready.

It’s the latest time slot for a new Doctor’s debut, with Christopher Eccleston’s first outing “Rose” airing at 7pm, David Tennant’s first “proper” story “New Earth” airing at 7:15 and Matt Smith crashed onto our screens, literally, in the Eleventh Hour, at the early time of 6:20.

“Deep Breath” debuts in cinemas and on TV, worldwide from August 23rd.
