Donald Trump Goes For Blood With Megyn Kelly Insult

Donald Trump continued his war against Megyn Kelly on Friday, saying she had “blood coming out of whatever” during debate

Republican presidential candidate and notable asshole Donald Trump continued to behave like a petulant child during a phone interview with CNN on Friday (August 7). Trump was speaking with CNN Tonight host Don Lemon about Thursday night’s debate, which was co-moderated by Fox News personality Megyn Kelly. During the debate, Kelly asked Trump about his exceptionally misogynistic past, highlighting a few of his more offensive comments. He responded by lashing out against “political correctness”, and later called her a “bimbo”. Donald Trump seemed personally offended by Kelly’s perfectly reasonable question, ending his response with a thinly veiled threat to stop being nice. Hours later, he accused her of behaving “very badly” and spent the ensuing night angry-tweeting about, and often at, Kelly.

When Lemon asked Donald Trump about the debate, he continued to accuse Kelly of unprofessional behaviour, implying she asked the question because she was menstruating.

She starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions. You know, you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her whatever.

Trump has spent his entire presidential campaign turning a blind eye to issues of genuine concern, preferring to make entertainment headlines. He refuses to apologize for any of his many racist and sexist comments, and tries to shut down criticism by bullying its source. Comments like the ones made against Kelly after asking him a reasonable question clearly demonstrate the main reason Trump is unqualified for presidency – he’s simply not mature enough to handle criticism in a healthy, adult way.

However, it would appear that insulting Kelly took things one step too far for many in his party. Editor-in-chief of RedState, a popular conservative blog, Erick Erickson removed Trump as a speaker at an event on Saturday.

Has Donald Trump taken things too far? Is he going to respond with “I’m rubber and you’re glue” next?
