It seems lately that not a day goes by without presidential hopeful Donald Trump being in the news as a result of something he's said or done.
His most recent headline-grabbing move is to reveal details of his long-since talked about plans for immigration reforms, which he first announced back in June.
At the time, he called for a blockade or wall at the southern U.S. border, along with a tough crack-down on undocumented immigrants, but it is only in the past few days that Trump has given more specific details about his plans.
In a report titled "Immigration Reform That Will Make America Great Again," he writes about his belief that, as a result of undocumented immigrants flooding into the country:
Black Americans have been particularly harmed.
He also states that,
Mexico’s leaders have been taking advantage of the United States by using illegal immigration to export the crime and poverty in their own country.
His methods for reducing or removing the problem completely come via suggestions that the government can/will:
...Increase fees on all border crossing cards, increase fees at ports of entry to the United States from Mexico, and impose tariffs and foreign aid cuts on the country.
Foreign students will also find themselves at risk under Trump's plans as the report details how he wants to remove short-term visas and put the money and funding towards:
A resume bank for inner city youth provided to all corporate subscribers to the J-1 visa program.
