From rotating skyscrapers and indoor ski resorts, Dubai is no stranger to elaborate innovation. So what's next for the city's elegant plans for the future?

"The Floating Seahorse," which is a floating house with underwater rooms.

The plans for the houses were revealed at the Dubai International Boat Show by a developer from the Kleindienst Group.

The houses will have three levels consisting of an upper deck, the main floor at sea level and an underwater level. The master bedroom and bathroom would be underwater with a panoramic view. There will also be an artificial coral reef created to be a protected habitat for seahorses can live.

The group plans to build 42 of these structures, 35 of which have already been sold, to be a part of Dubai's large artificial island project. The project is aimed for completion by the end of 2016.
