Willie Robertson, son of highly controversial Phil Robertson, will celebrate the New Year with Fox News. The Duck Dynasty star will feature on Fox’s All-American New Year Special hosted by Bill Hemmer and, former Survivor, and The View star, Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
His father’s recent suspension will be discussed. Phil Robertson’s removal was due to anti-gay comments made during a interview with GQ magazine.
Phil Robertson's ban was short lived, however, as A&E reinstated him after nine days. The show itself is a massive part of A&E’s recent success. The fourth season premiere brought in 11.8 million viewers and the show had made $80 million in advertising sales from the first nine months of 2013.
The special can be seen from 9 p.m to 12.30 am Eastern Standard Time.
