Politics may be in the future, but not just yet for Duck Commander Willie Robertson.
The Washington Examiner recently claimed that the A&E reality star was being considered to replace Republican Rodney Alexander who will be retiring soon.
Robertson has now told Us Weekly that he has no plans to enter the race. “I mean, I’d consider everything,” he said. “But you know, at this point in my life, I’m really busy. Maybe we can help the country in some way, get these guys to be more efficient and all that. I don’t know. I don’t think now is the right time but who knows about one day?”
So even though it appears we won’t be seeing a Congressional campaign highlighted on the hit show anytime soon, don’t rule it out.
