Mass Effect 4.

It’s semi-officially happening.

The news of the next installment in the popular Mass Effect series being developed came about in a  fairly nondescript manner during a developer interview with BioWare during EA’s E3 press conference this morning. No official title was given to the upcoming game, but it’s hard not to imagine that it’s another all-new sequel to place within the in-depth space drama’s world instead of something more like an offshoot.

Also announced during this same “developer diary” portion of EA’s show is that BioWare is working on a brand new IP altogether. Like with the incoming Mass Effect title however, no other details were spilled about the impending title. With BioWare’s penchant for making insanely great titles, it’s hard not to be excited at the mere thought of what’s to come, nonetheless.
