Eileen Carey Unveils “Keep Your Love To Yourself”

“Sometimes in life you just have to have enough love for yourself to reject a toxic relationship, hard as that can be…”

While many artists might prefer not to push the boundaries of the style within which they feel most comfortable, Eileen Carey is not one of them and has over the course of her career proven this time and time again, releasing singles that fit in country, pop and rock genres. She’s shared stages with some big names including Wilson Phillips, Don McLean and Jefferson Starship and won numerous awards including AC/Hot AC Female Artist of the Year in 2019. A kind and compassionate individual, when not delighting the masses on tour or through her releases, she also works diligently to secure good homes for abused and stray animals with FixNation.

Despite Corona Virus continuing to affect many people’s plans both personally and professionally, Carey isn’t letting the crisis slow her down and is gearing up for the release of her new single “Keep Your Love To Yourself”, which PopWrapped are delighted to premiere.

The indie-pop track – and Eileen’s tenth single – depicts a woman moving on from a toxic relationship, explaining she would rather be by herself and happy than to stay, and was created with the help of songwriter Meesha Black and producer Travis Allen. Eileen says of the song: “Sometimes in life you just have to have enough love for yourself to reject a toxic relationship, hard as that can be. You literally have to put the brakes on so you can move on.”

As an additional treat for fans, Eileen Carey is giving away merchandise packs to the top three positive commenters on this post. Winners will be contacted by Eileen’s team and have the potential to have their comments featured in a future Eileen Carey video.

With everything else happening right now and domestic violence at an all time high, this send a message that people do have ability to take what’s important in their lives and move forward. Sometimes, people need to find a way to get help but they may be unwilling to ask for it. It’s no sin to request assistance and there are more people out there to help than you can imagine. We need more positivity now than ever and this song hits the mark, big time

Eileen has been a true friend thru the years. She truly has a heart of gold for people, and specially for all the animals, who have no voice to protect them. Eileen’s music always wants me to dance and sing along. I cannot wait till all this is over to watch her and the band play live again.

“Love isn’t love until you give it away. If you really love someone, set them free. Let him fly and give it a rest. If he doesn’t come back it’s all for the best. Smiling, dancing and avoiding arrest are all so much better than getting a gun and shooting him, once to the eyes and two in the chest.”

Thank you Eileen for staying positive and strong. Eileen Carey rocks!
