Ellie Goulding is not one of those artists that you’ll miss when they don’t have an album out, ‘cause she’s always around somehow, through collaborations and other stuff. Once again, she’s found the way to stay in the spotlight, with the release of a brand-new soundtrack single.
After the success of her Divergent tune, “Beating Heart”, the songstress is ready to repeat that success. Ellie Gounding now has a fresh track out, titled “Love Me Like You Do”, and it is included in the soundtrack for upcoming film,Fifty Shades Of Grey. Crafted by Max Martin and Tove Lo, the song is a pop masterpiece in terms of production, with angelic vocals singing the sweet yet dark lyrics. It’s a perfect fit for the soundtrack of the BDSM-themed movie.
With Fifty Shades Of Grey scheduled to arrive on February 13, “Love Me Like You Do” is also set to become available for purchase on February 15. It’s been implied that the track could also serve as the lead single off Ellie Goulding’s upcoming, third studio album, but no official word is out on that. The rest of the movie’s soundtrack includes tunes from the likes of Beyoncé, Sia and The Weeknd among others.
